The Blue were defeated last night by Fitchburg State 1-0 at home. This brings Wellesley to a 6-6-1 record. Despite outshooting our opponents 19-9 we couldn't finish our chances. Fitchburg's goal was off an unfortunate penalty kick rewarded in the 32nd minute after a trip in the box.
Next up...away game at Smith College(conference game!) this Saturday.
